Local Brushers is a small business built by climbers and artists. Our company is always a climbers first kind of company with the culture and community standing at the forefront of our hearts and mind. Each one of our members is deeply rooted in the climbing scene and has worked in the industry so we know what its like to put climbing before all else.
Paulina Viteralla, our lead designer is a key member in our team, as she brings our ideas to life. As a professional tattoo artist, she's able to design anything we ask her to, always adding her own distinctive style. Beyond her artistic talent, Paulina is an active supporter of her local community promoting handmade crafts, uplifting small businesses, and contributing meaningfully to her local LGBTQ+ community.

Kilo "Loca" Yoshida, holds manages the Southern California / Los Angeles scene for the company. If something needs doing: logistics, filming, marketing, etc, its done. He’s a big reason our roots stay firmly planted in our home region and local scene, and honestly, without him we wouldn’t have nearly the amount of love and support we do now.
You’ll usually catch Kilo crushing at a local Hangar 18, or crushing outside when conditions allow. When he’s not climbing, he’s on his motorcycle enjoying the ride. Just another absolute crusher padding the company stats. You can find him on Instagram @somekidnamedkilo.
Eric Nguyen, a key member in pushing our brand in SLC, is the man behind the camera. Often time when we are on a trip Eric pick up the mantle and volunteers to be the camera man. Often the silent hero he truly is a key part in our marketing and content creation. Although sometimes underprepared he's never afraid to jump into the trenches and make heinous approaches just to support.
When he's not out filming with Local, he's studying at the University of Utah as a fulltime student along with holding two internships, with one of those being at Pusher! Even as a dedicated scholar he finds time to climb and train, with his recent send of Euro V10. Another crusher being added to the team helping us pad the stats. Justin Lau, one of the founders and owners of this small business we call Local Brushers. Now residing in Salt Lake City, he's a climber first and a business owner second. While focusing on pushing his climbing grades, he still manages the day to day logistics, website and social media. Outside of climbing he enjoys a good round of golf, video games and is in a Tuesday night bowling league!
